Text Tool        

The Text tool is used to enter a text line.

The pointer shape changes from an Arrow into an I-beam when it is over the label. The I-beam
is used  to position the text insertion point, a blinking vertical bar that marks the point where 
text you enter will be inserted.

You can assign to a text line such parameters as a Border width by selecting Width from the 
Style menu .You can fill it with any pattern and color you like by choosing the Fill Tool from 
the Label Tool palette  and selecting a color and pattern in Color and Pattern Palettes. 
Then move the cursor to the text line and click.
